About Us

I was born in the Kilimanjaro region, specifically in Marangu, which is located near the famous Kilimanjaro mountain climbing route. During my school days, there were villagers who used to go to the Kilimanjaro forest for theft, searching for honey. They would use fire to drive away the bees and collect the honey. Sometimes, the fire would get out of control and they would run away, leaving the fire to burn the forest. Our school was close to the entrance gate of the national park, and the villagers would come to the school to ask the higher grade students for help in extinguishing the fire, along with the park rangers. During one of these firefighting exercises, we encountered tourists on their way up or down the mountain, and they would congratulate us and give us various gifts. It was during this time that I developed an interest in becoming a tour guide.

After completing secondary school, I joined the tour guiding college in Moshi. While working, I traveled with a family who loved my work and asked me how they could support me. I requested further education, and they arranged for me to attend a college in Botswana. After completing my studies, I worked in Botswana for a while before returning to Tanzania. At home, I interacted with many visitors and would always tell them about the beauty of my country. Many expressed interest in visiting, and I started creating itineraries for them. They enjoyed their safaris, and it was then that a guest suggested that if I could organize a good safari with a rental car, they would lend me a car to start my own company. If I encountered any difficulties, they assured me they would assist me. This is how the dream of Mawalla Adventure Safari came true.
